iHeartRADIO is so much more than "just another digital radio service". The whole concept behind it revolves around the idea of an all-in-one music streaming and digital radio service meant to bring users their favorite music and favorite radio shows in one single app!
My Part in This Web Project:
It was a full life-cycle web development project that involved me from A to Z. I was assigned to build the Drupal 8 custom website that for iHeartRADIO from the ground up.
Since you can't drive innovation (and, as a Drupal developer, I'm prone to innovative ideas and, therefore, to innovative web projects, too) without experimentation, when I got the chance to bring my contribution to this experimental project I couldn't have possibly say no it!
RegulationRoom.org is an e-platform created by a group of researchers from the Cornell University. It's been built both as a research platform, where citizens can learn all about the latest plans and rules initiated by federal agencies (summarized versions of the rules would be made public on the portal), as well as a digital environment triggering discussions and all sorts of reactions to the published information.
My collaboration with DentaQuest, the largest dental benefits solutions provider in the USA, started with a vision (theirs): helping people to monitor and to improve their dental health not just anyhow, but as threy efficiently managing all the costs involved, as well.
And it continued with a set of challenges (but I'm drawn to challenges!) that their leveraging Drupal on their portal involved due to all the functionalities and features required.
My Part in this Project:
… consisted of tasks involving Drupal site building, new Drupal theme implementation and, of course, custom Drupal module development (since the portal's an entire "blending" of functionalities and complex features).
I sure feel particularly grateful whenever I get the chance to leverage my skills, knowledge and experience as a Drupal developer for helping daringly innovative brands grow.
And BiblioCommons, a "software as a service" solutions provider, sure is a brand that fosters innovation and manages to revolutionize its target market: it created the concept (now turned into a web service) of an interactive front-end, feature-rich catalog addressing public library systems. And benefiting their readers, of course.
My Part in This Project:
My contribution to the website's current look and to its current set of functionalities and features included the site's building itself, custom Drupal module creation and theming.
